Beautiful vintage solid walnut chest of drawers built by the Springfield Furniture Company (Springfield, MO). Features original historic shipping/factory paper labels on the back, including a tag addressed to Christman’s in Joplin, MO, adding a great touch of mid-century/mid-century-adjacent history. Wood: Genuine solid walnut with classic craftsmanship and dovetail drawers that glide smoothly. Condition: Structurally very sturdy and sound. Cosmetically, it shows its age with some surface wear/scratches on the top surface and some scuffing on the bottom front corner (please see all photos for close-ups).
