This lab grade deep freeze unit was purchased in early 2024 from the asset liquidation sale of a working Asian fusion restaurant that went bankrupt. Prior to the sale the unit was powered on and apparently in working order during inspection. I purchased it at considerable expense and stored it, planning to use it when I had the space to accommodate such a bulky appliance. I went to plug it in at one point only to find it is wired with a NEMA 5-20P type plug (see picture) which requires a particular receptacle/outlet that I dont have where it is stored. At first I thought this plug meant it required a 220V power source, but it is in fact 115V, the plug is a precaution to ensure it only is used on an outlet rated for high-demand/large appliances. Because this fridge is an absolute beast -- almost 450lbs -- and I still dont live in a space that can accommodate it, it remains in storage, unused, After more than 2 years storing it without getting any benefit out of it, I am ready to pass it along to someone who can get it at a bargain basement price and put it to good use. This unit is only one step down from the largest and most powerful of its kind, and is nowhere to be found for sale, at least online or that I could find. The only company even listing it on their site ( below) sells them used/refurbished for $1865, and it shows as out of stock. Because I cant/havent been able to power it up to confirm its running condition, it is priced at only $300. Though it most likely is in operating condition, I do not guarantee or warrant anything about its condition and any sale is final. Payment is by cash or certified funds only. Buyer should be prepared with enough manpower to load the unit (again it is 450 lbs) and a vehicle that can handle its weight and size. I am flexible for appointments to take a look, it is in a storage site at Valencia and Parker, technically in Denver but the Glendale area.
