1880s - 1920s N&W Railroad Depot Station Baggage Wagon

For sale is a very rare NORFOLK and WESTERN Railroad Baggage and Cargo Wagon. This type of wagon was used to transport travelers goods, US mail and other merchandise from the Depot Station to be loaded onto the box cars. This wagon had previously been stored under shelter for many many years and maintains much of its original colors and physical characteristics. Boards are basically sound and the wheels roll freely. Without greasing, the front axle also pivots freely. The heavy counter weight on the tongue has separated from the base but doesnt otherwise affect the function of the tongue. Wagon is about 10 long, w/o the tongue, about 39 wide and about 35 tall to the loading platform. The four (4) large iron wheels are about 28 diameter.
