Floors are then coated with polyurethane, most 3/4 hardwood floors can be sanded up to 6 times, as long as d 1 by professionals .You can choose the finish of your choice, there is water based polyurethane and Oil based polyurethane. Hardwood Floor Stain Colors. There are many varieties of stain; each floor takes the stain differently. So, after our crew sands an area on your house, we can apply samples of the colors to show you how they will truly look on your floor.
