Port Angeles SEABIRDS ORIGINAL PAINTING 8x10 INCHES STRETCHED CANVAS

It has such vibrancy and positive vibes to it. I always enjoy original art. Bird happy theme on this one. Fresh out of the studio is this original acrylic painting called Faith on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Darkest Before the Dawn. This is an ongoing series of paintings. This one has lots of seabirds in it. I created this as an homage to the moment that a friend and I were rescued off the sea, some years ago. We had been out in our little boat on a calm winter day. A storm suddenly came in and soon we were drifting out to the Pacific Ocean from the Strait. Darkness set in as the waves tossed us around like we were a toothpick. The waves became enormous under us. The boat engine could not keep up, eventually running out of gas. It did not look good for us. I sat calmly, hanging onto the side of the rocking boat. My friend screamed into the wind. He was panicking. After hours of this, a tiny yacht appeared from nowhere. Somehow, they saw us. They were shocked at the sight of us there. They took us on board and towed our little boat to a distant shore. I know without a doubt, that God sent them to save us on that cold dark January night.
