Ami guitars are made by the Seagull company in Canada. A Great Parlor guitar sized like the guitars from the late 1800’s to early 1900’s. The twelve fret fretboard with the bridge set back further than a 14 fret guitar gives great tone and volume. It has many other applications. I keep my AMI close to the couch, take it camping or just when I travel. I’ve owned many parlor guitars including expensive Martins, Taylor’s and the Guild M-20, I choose the AMI over them to play - I also am not as concerned about scratches because it costs a lot less as an investment. The AMI was also made with a spruce top and Cherry ply top. The Solid Cedar top is the most desirable.
