Your presence gives caregivers essential relief while ensuring the individual is safe, engaged, and treated with dignity. Location: In-home Support in Carlsbad, CA Schedule: Sunday- Thursday 9 pm - 5 am What You’ll Do A typical shift may include: Supporting daily routines with calm structure, patience, and respect Providing companionship and engagement (games, crafts, music, preferred activities) Assisting with meal preparation and light tidying related to the shift Supporting basic personal care as indicated in the care plan (if applicable) Maintaining a safe, supportive environment and following family/provider guidance Communicating clearly with families about how the shift went and any concerns Safety-Focused Support Some individuals served may require additional hands-on safety support, including: Calming strategies and sleeping support. Routine Implementation ADLs and following a Timed Toileting Schedule Your job is to be present, alert, and proactive—helping prevent avoidable incidents while maintaining the individual’s comfort and dignity. What We’re Looking For (Experienced Caregivers Preferred) You’re a strong fit if you are: Dependable, compassionate, and professional Comfortable working independently in a family’s home Skilled at following routines, care plans, and safety expectations Respectful of privacy, boundaries, and cultural preferences Confident supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and varied needs Preferred experience (strongly): Respite, caregiving, home care, or IDD support experience Familiarity with behavior support strategies and de-escalation (where applicable) Requirements Valid California Driver’s License Current auto insurance and reliable transportation Clean driving record Ability to meet onboarding requirements (CPR, background clearance, training, etc.) Ready to Apply?
