They recall the glory, splendor, and mythologies surrounding the Royal Courts. They depict scenes of hunting and victory among the rulers. Many times, hunting scenes depicted in the silk Qum rugs recall a famous poem or story. The symbolism of the vintage silk rugs is quite complex. This silk rug stands out for its exquisite use of color and level of detail that gives the pictorial elements a realistic character and feel. The abundant plant and animal life represents a time of prosperity. As a result, Qum silk rugs were quickly able to establish themselves in the world of fine rugs.
