But for $3,000, you should know exactly what you are buying... For sale is a massive table that measures about 96 long and 39 wide (or 8-feet long and 3.25-feet wide). You can adjust the height of this table. At its lowest setting, its 30 tall, which is the standard height of a conference room table or residential dining room table. At its highest setting, its 42 tall, which is the standard height of a standing bar table. You adjust the height by manually rotating a round metal wheel underneath the table. Because this table is height adjustable, its extremely versatile, allowing you to use it in different settings and for different occasions and functions. For example, you can use this as a conference table for business meetings. But it can also be used as a residential dining room table. It can also be used as a bar table where people gather around the table in a standing position. There are other options for how you can use it. This table is from the industrial farm-house genre of furniture. The legs are reminiscent of an industrial look, while the tabletop is reminiscent of a farmhouse look. This genre of furniture is also sometimes called steampunk. This table is extremely heavy-duty. The entire thing weighs about 220 pounds! This is not something that you would want to move often. Its constructed of two main components. The first structural component is the tabletop, which is a solid slab of mango wood that measures about 8-feet long, 3.25-feet wide, and 1 inch thick. The tabletop is a perfect semicircle on the left and right sides, and it is perfectly square-shaped in the middle. The top surface of the wood slab has a matt-type, slightly porous finish, in line with the farmhouse feel. The top surface is NOT a refined satin-type finish that would serve to counteract the farmhouse look. Underneath this solid slab are 2.5 tall wooden support beam on all sides to add structural strength to the slab above it. Due to the large quantities of solid wood, the table top itself weighs about 110 pounds! The second structural component is the extremely sturdy leg base, which is composed of tower legs sections on the left and right sides and the middle support beam that connects these two legs. Each support leg is 24 wide and 24 deep. The height of each leg is adjustable, between 28 and 40. The support crossbar beam measures 8 wide, 8 deep, and 48 long. Its possible to rotate the wheel in the middle of the crossbar beam. Doing so engages a set of cogs and gears on each leg that moves the top portion of the leg up or down. This is the mechanism for adjusting the height of the tabletop. All portions of the leg base are constructed of heavy-duty steel painted black. Due to the large quantities of metal, the three sections of the leg base collectively weigh about 110 pounds! The legs connect to the tabletop using standard heavy-duty screws. This table was purchased by my elderly mother-in-law for $5,000 right before the pandemic from a high-end furniture gallery near Paso Robles. She was told that the table was custom-made, taking the legs from another furniture piece and attaching it to the wooden tabletop slab, which was produced just for this piece. My mother-in-law recently moved to a smaller place and this table is simply too large for her new space. I am selling it for her. The entire table is in excellent structural and functional condition. All wooden pieces, including the tabletop, are intact with no warping, bending, or damage. The metal legs components are also perfect with no warping, bending, or damage. The rotating-wheel mechanism to adjust the height of the table works perfectly. There is nothing wrong with this table. The table is also in excellent cosmetic condition. There are no major scratches, dents, dings, or smudges on any visible wood or metal surface. There may be some extremely tiny surface scratches on some exterior portions from normal wear. But these incredibly tiny cosmetic issues dont harm the structural integrity of the wood or the metal. Please note that youre only purchasing the table. No chairs are included in the purchase. As a summary, this table is about 8 feet long and 3.25 feet wide. Its height adjustable between 30 tall and 42 tall. The entire table weighs 220 pounds. The tabletop is constructed of a single piece of solid mango wood. The leg base is constructed of three different sections of heavy-duty metal. When combined, the table has elements of an industrial look and element of a farmhouse look. All portions of the table are in excellent structural, functional, and cosmetic condition. You can pick up from my house near the San Jose Airport. Given its size and weight, youll need a truck or cargo van. I can provide some small amount of assistance in moving the individual pieces into your vehicle. But it would probably be better for you to arrange for a professional delivery service. I prefer that you reach out via text message. Sending an initial email message is OK. But arranging pickup solely using email is not a feasible option for me.
