Very cool Set of 8 Authentic Disney Resort Banquet Chairs by Shelby Williams (Hidden Mickey Pattern!). They are from the Disneyland hotel convention center grand ballet and are very rare especially in a full set of eight chairs. This is a rare opportunity to own a matching set of 8 heavy-duty commercial banquet chairs manufactured by the elite hospitality builder Shelby Williams (stamped with a delivery date of October 12, 2004). Look closely at the gorgeous navy, burgundy, and gold elegant tassel pattern—there are custom Hidden Mickeys woven seamlessly into the fabric! These chairs were custom-built for high-end Disney hospitality properties and are not something you can just buy in a retail store. Honest Condition Disclosure: These chairs were built for high-traffic environments, meaning they are incredibly sturdy, solid, and structural tanks. However, they do show signs of a previous life: Frames: The black finish on the metal frames has some scuffs, scrapes, and paint wear from being stacked and moved over the years (see close-up photos). A quick touch-up with black appliance epoxy or spray paint would make them look brand new. One of the black plastic bottoms has come unstapled and hangs down slightly. Also 3 of the chairs are missing a bolt on the base that holds a leg in so they wiggle a big but are still stable. Replacing the bolts would be a cheap and easy way to fix them. The frames are also dusty and could use a good cleaning. Fabric: The upholstery is structurally intact and highly durable, but a few of the seats and backs have minor surface stains/spots (pictured). A quick pass with a rented carpet cleaner or steam extractor should lift most of it right out! Some also appear slightly faded. One (1) Twin Solid Oak Platform Bed •Purchased in Philadelphia around 1995. Footboard ~26 H and Headboard is ~38 H • Used by our son until about 2008 • Condition: Very good condition with normal nicks and bumps from use and age but overall, I would say still in very good to excellent condition. Note that on the footboard on the one edge it is much darker than the other wood. Dont know if that is grain color or if we had it up against something. New owner can decide if they want to very, very lightly sand and put an oak stain on it. • Has been stored disassembled since 2008 • Goes with just about any kids décor • Note: Both my boys were 6’ – 6’2” by the time they left for college and at that point the beds were too short. So, you will see that the length is 6’3” however assuming your head isn’t up against the headboard and your feet aren’t against the footboard I wouldn’t recommend for anyone taller than 5’10” - 6 maximum. • Most of the twins you see are pine not oak so don’t be fooled. These are rock sold and heavy. To build one yourself the cost of the wood would be more than the cost of this bed. David, the buyer of the twin to this one is a carpenter by profession and told me to buy the oak wood would cost ~2X what he paid for the complete bed. He had looked in furniture stores and found everything in this price range of poor quality.
