8 pounds 11.4 ounces (8.7lbs.) Early M2M This is a 2003 (Gibson employee) Custom Shop Les Paul. If you run the serial number with Gibson it will come back a Wine Red Studio, Just what happens with employee purchases at least back then, to save employees money. The neck is between a 60s and possibly a Jimmy Page model. 79@1st fret, .88@12th fret. All the tuners, plastics, electronics and tailpiece are all historic original. The pickup cavities are signed by two of the Gibson Custom Shop employees (one is still current) Under the truss rod cover is the initials of the employee (Northeast Rep. at the time) By all means this was built as an R0 with exception of Short tenon and Nashville bridge, That would be an issue for the custom shop. The dye and Paint where also what was used on the Reissues at the time as can be seen in the binding The strap button was moved (not by me) and original hole remains (I have mahogany plugs if you need it) The Back is signed by The Man Himself Les Paul showing the pass from that night in 2006 I changed the the bridge with a Faber master conversion since the original was nashville, Otherwise would have been a R series and can only guess would have been a no no to list as a Studio and use an abr bridge and long tenon. I also changed the pickups to Hausell 59s UNPOTTED special order Frets are in great shape, and beautifully polished I am in no rush to sell, I have many great Les Pauls (but not with this story) If you are truly interested you may call and ask questions, Not looking for Penpals If you do not get a response its because you did not follow the opening statement Thanks Cash and Carry Steve

Highly modified, and very warm sounding when plugged in. Pretty convincing L-5 tones Comes with hardshell case I started using a smaller guitar for jazz gigs, and cant seem to bond with the bigger archtop anymore I bought this one second-hand, so it has a few quirks I will need to explain to a serious buyer...... specifically regarding the added arm rest and screws that the previous owner installed (!!) bigsby I think was factory, but I never ever use on this one. You could put roller saddles on and use it. I originally had a rocker gretsch style bridge. Its 25.5 scale not the modern gibson 24.75 Currently strung with 11 flatwounds Great gigging guitar Overall its a nice looking, better than epiphone of the same era (90s) sounding jazz guitar I put an amazing intonation compensation nut on it, and a new bridge/saddle its ready to gig
