Registered Dental Hygienist

Job Overview Lumin8 Dentistry is a growing, patient-centered private practice seeking a positive, motivated Registered Dental Hygienist to join our supportive team. We are currently hiring for 2 days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday) with the potential to expand to 3 days (Tuesday–Thursday) as our practice continues to grow. Tuesday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Wednesday: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (1-hour lunch) Future opportunity to add Thursdays About Our Office: -Solo doctor private practice -One-column hygiene -Dentrix software -Supportive, team-oriented environment -Growth-focused and relationship-driven care Duties -Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup. -Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs, medical histories, and evaluating oral health status. -Capture and interpret dental imaging such as X-rays while adhering to infection control protocols. -Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. -Maintain accurate dental records, document treatment notes, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations. -Support infection control procedures by following aseptic techniques and maintaining a sterile environment. Qualifications -Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification. -Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft or Dentrix for record keeping and documentation review. -1 year of experience (preferred).
