Lumberyard Load Builder / Forklift Operator – $20/hr Full-Time | Day Shift | Hugo, MN JL Schwieters Building Supply Construction, Inc. is hiring a Lumberyard Load Builder / Forklift Operator for our Hugo facility. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role for some 1 who knows their way around a lumberyard and takes pride in getting loads built right. If you have forklift experience and enjoy physical work with clear expectations and steady hours, this is a solid, long-term opportunity. Pay & Schedule • $20.00/hour • Full-time, year-round work • Monday–Thursday: 6:00 am – 4:00 pm • Friday: 6:00 am – 2:00 pm • Weekends off What You’ll Be Doing • Operating sit-down forklifts and Combi-Lifts • Loading and unloading trucks and rail cars • Building lumber loads from pick sheets • Picking, staging, and organizing orders • Assisting with inventory and yard organization • Working safely and efficiently in an active lumberyard What We’re Looking For • At least 1 year of forklift experiencelumberyard experience preferred • Knowledge of lumber types, grades, and speciesOSB, LVL, EWP, etc.is a big plus • Ability to read a tape measure • Basic math and legible reading/writing skills • Dependable, hardworking, and able to work at a steady pace Experience with a nail gun or circular saw is helpful, but not required.
