Custom Built Stratocaster

No expense was spared on this build. $1300 in parts alone, plus $180 in setup and fretwork. Fender Vintera Roadworn body in Fiesta Red Nitro with amazing wear, checking and fading. Neck was custom built by Musikraft in New Jersey. 60’s C-shape, Rock maple, dual action truss rod (adjust at headstock) compound radius 7.25” to 9.5”, stainless steel medium 7105 frets, real abalone dots and side markers. Lacquer over tinted oil finish, satin on the back, semi-gloss on the board and headstock face. Fender American Vintage staggered tuners, Fender American Vintage trem/bridge with full steel trem block, Raw Vintage springs, custom made/aged mint green pickguard and plastics (knobs, tips,) from Realistic Relics in Canada. Electronics are vintage 80s EMG SA pickups, with vintage 80s EXG and SPC tone controls exactly like the ones in David Gilmour’s Candy Apple Red Strat. (This is not the modern solderless DG20 loaded pickguard). I built this guitar last year and have played it regularly since. I wanted to wait for everything to settle in before getting the setup and finishing fretwork done. The final setup was done last week by Frank at Brian’s Guitars which included rolling the fretboard edges and smoothing out the fret ends. This guitar plays and bends effortlessly and stays in tune thanks to the 5 Raw Vintage springs. (google them) The price is firm. This guitar will stand toe to toe with the best Fender custom shop, Nash, or Suhr out there. call or text Jimi
