Seeking a Founding Partner: End-of-Life Doula Practice

Seeking a Founding Partner: End-of-Life Doula Practice The Vision: I am looking for a compassionate, dedicated partner to co-found an end-of-life doula practice. This is more than a business; it is a commitment to bringing dignity, peace, and advocacy to individuals and families navigating the final chapters of life. Our Journey Together: We will start at the ground level: First, there is specialized training: We will undergo professional doula certification together that I have done extensive research and found to align our skills and philosophy. The process is about 3 months of specialized training on top of your already amazing experience and natural born gifts. Business Design: We will collaborate on our brand, service offerings, and legal structure (LLC or Independent Contractor partnership). Shared Support: This work is emotionally demanding. We will act as each other’s anchor—providing debriefing support, coverage for illness or burnout, and a collaborative second set of eyes for complex family dynamics. Who You Are and Experience: You have a background in elderly care, hospice, emt, and/or a related field. Patient & Grounded: You possess a calm presence and the ability to hold space for others in distress. Trustworthy: Reliability and integrity are your core values. Entrepreneurial: You are excited about the building phase of a new business. You have experience in some technology attributes for design of business, and marketing. Most marketing will become word of mouth after a while. Why a Partnership? Death doesn’t keep a 9-to-5 schedule. A partnership allows us to offer 24/7 support to families without sacrificing our own well-being. By working together, we ensure our clients always have a familiar, trusted face available, while we provide each other with the professional community and emotional backup essential to this calling. Let’s connect if you feel called to this work and want to build something meaningful from the heart up. More than ever right now, there is a huge need to fill a very important role by working alongside amazing and dedicated caregivers, hospice care nurses, and families that are already stressed thin. This is a non-medical role with specialized service(s) to further help support the vast array of the practical, emotional, and spiritual matters of the end of life process for the dying person and the circle around them. If this resonates and you feel this could be a part of your very own souls purpose to be of service, I’d love to meet you, grab coffee, and share visions.
