This is an unbelievably clean and fresh original of truly Bauhaus form and high quality manufacture. The condition is excellent throughout. The cantilever tubular steel chrome frame is straight; without rust, scratches or other detractions. Intact vintage 60s, red naugahyde/faux leather cover is clearly a 3rd upholster-over prior covers on the molded walnut plywood seat and back. The rear of the seat back has brass tack detail-not integral to upholstery, but likely to prevent damage or scrapes of rubbing against a wall, where last purposed. The chair is decades older than the current vintage covering and bears the original makers stamp.
