Strings Acoustic Guitar Various Brands and Prices

I would be able to change out your strings for you for a $10 charge and I will also adjust your truss rod to the new string tension. I mainly stock Ernie Ball Phosphor bronze strings but sometimes I have other brands and gauges. The prices do vary and this is what I currently have in stock. You may note that my prices listed could be either higher or lower than what you may be able to buy a pack for in the store, but my prices are intended for when you get your strings changed by me. Phosphor bronze strings have a warmer, darker, and more balanced t 1 with enhanced mid-range and longer string life compared to 80/20 bronze strings, which are known for their bright, clear, bell-like sound with a prominent low end and high end but a shorter lifespan. The choice depends on personal preference and the desired tonal characteristics for the specific guitar. Phosphor Bronze Strings Sound: Offers a darker, warmer, and more mellow t 1 with a pronounced mid-range and rich, complex harmonics. Lifespan: Provide a longer lifespan due to the added phosphorus, which helps resist corrosion. Application: A good choice for guitars with abundant bass, like dreadnoughts, or for those seeking a more balanced, full sound with a gentler pick attack. 80/20 Bronze StringsBrass Sound: Known for a bright, clear, bell-like t 1 with a prominent high end and strong low end, often with a scooped mid-range. Lifespan: Tend to have a shorter lifespan and are more pr 1 to corrosion compared to phosphor bronze. Application: Ideal for smaller or parlor-sized guitars to add fullness, and for players who prefer a shimmering, bright sound or need the guitar to cut through a mix. Key Considerations Personal Preference: The ultimate choice is subjective and depends on what t 1 pleases your ear and suits your playing style. Guitar Wood and Body Size: The type of wood and the body size of the guitar can influence how different string alloys sound. For example, a warm-sounding cedar-top guitar might be too soft with phosphor bronze, while a spruce-top might be a good match for 80/20 s. Initial vs. Settled T 1: 80/20 strings lose their initial brightness more quickly, while phosphor bronze strings gain their characteristic warmth after a few hours of play. This is what I have in stock. Ernie Ball Phosphor Bronze Alloy 2150 Extra Light 10-50 = 1 2148 Light 11-52 = 1 2146 Medium Light 12-54 = 1 2144 Medium 13-56 = 5 D’Addario Phosphor Bronze EJ 16 Light 12-53 = 1 D’Addario 80/20 Bronze EJ 12 Medium 13-56 = 1 Elixir Phosphor Bronze 16182 Light 13-53 = 1 PLEASE READ I do not respond to emails because the reaction time is too slow for me with my service. SO IF YOU NEED ANY GUITAR WORK D 1 PLEASE CONTINUE READING. IF NOT THERE IS NO NEED TO READ ANY FURTHER. If your strings are getting old and your guitar needs new 1 s, dont just change them, get a setup! After you get a setup your instrument is usually easier to play and sounds better. If you need your strings changed, a truss rod adjusted, the fretboard cleaned and oiled, the frets leveled, crowned, dressed and polished, the intonation set, the bridge h 8 adjusted, the pick up h 8 s adjusted, the stripped hardware fixed or replaced, the tuning pegs repaired or replaced, the electronics repaired or replaced, the nut worked on or replaced on your acoustic, bass or electric guitar then bring it to me. However, I am not a Luthier and I don’t normally do woodworking, fret replacements or finish repairs. Please read on for an idea of the prices I charge. SETUPS Note that there is a $20 service charge for doing a string change or set up on a guitar that I receive with 2 or more strings missing on it. The reason is because it does not allow me to do a proper pre-check and evaluate the guitar to see what work needs to be d 1. It also makes it take longer to do the work because the guitar has not been under tension and will take longer to form back into place once the strings are put on. Set ups consist of different processes and each process is necessary to make the guitar play the best it possibly can. I have listed each process and the charge for doing each 1 of them if you are not getting a complete setup. 1. Doing a setup on a guitar that when received is missing 2 or more strings. $20 2. Change out strings. $10 3. Truss rod adjustment. $5 4. Clean and oil the fret board. $30 5. Lightly clean the whole guitar, but not the fret board. $10 6. Tighten down all hardware and repair stripped wood holes. $10 7. Oil tuning pegs if needed. $20 8. Setting the intonation. $10 9. Adjusting the bridge h 8 for easier playing action. On a fixed bridge only. $5 10. Adjusting the pick up h 8 s for proper volume control. $5 Each guitar has different levels of difficulty and require different amounts of time to do the setup. Therefore, I have listed the following prices for different types of guitars when getting a complete setup, according to the bridge. These prices are for a complete setup if you provide the strings. Fixed bridge with no adjustments. $40 Fixed bridge with h 8 adjustments but no intonation adjustments. $45 Fixed bridge with h 8 and intonation adjustments. $50 Non-floating vibrato. There will be an additional $5 charge for each spring if replaced or added. $60 Floating vibrato. There will be an additional $5 charge for each spring if replaced or added. $70 ALLOWED TIME For a full set up it usually takes about 4 hours due to the wait times of fret board conditioning. In order to do a thorough job I prefer to keep the instrument for at least 24 hours which allows me the proper amount of time to keep tweaking the guitar adjustments for the best outcome. AVAILABILITY Im available most days of the week from 9 am to 9 pm to include weekends. REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PRICES MAY VARY DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES AND CAN BE DISCUSSED BEFORE THE WORK IS D 1. ACOUSTIC SADDLE WORK Modify the existing saddle by shaving, shimming or slotting if you are getting a set up. $10 Without a set up $20 Replacement if you provide the original part as a jig and this includes any required shaving and slotting of the part. $30 Without a set up $40 D-TUNA Installing without a blocking system. $20 FRET LEVEL AND DRESS This will require cleaning and oiling the fret board when finished. $60 When this is d 1 a set up on the guitar is required and included in the following prices. Guitar or bass with fixed bridge and no adjustments. $100 Guitar or bass with a fixed bridge and the bridge requires a h 8 adjustment. $105 Guitar or bass with a fixed bridge and the bridge requires a h 8 and intonation adjustment. $110 Guitar with a non-floating tremolo. $120 Guitar with a floating tremolo. $130 NUT WORK The prices listed are general because there are several ways how nuts are mounted to guitars. Each different way can affect the pricing. So the prices that I have listed for the nut explained in the first type. 1. The nut that is glued into place at the end of the fret board it usually is easily removed by scoring the ends and tapping it out of place. It can be shimmed to raise the actions. 2. The nut that is imbedded into the fretboard and usually breaks when it is removed. This can be slightly shimmed and usually needs replacing if the action is too low. 3. The nut that is imbedded between the fretboard and the wood on the headstock and has to be cut in 2 in order to remove it. This type of nut can have the action lowered by filing the string slots, but if the action is too low, the nut has to be replaced. 4. The locking nut system, which is usually screwed to the guitar neck and can be easily removed. These nuts are usually made of metal and if worn out need to be replaced. However, they are easily shimmed in order to raise the action. If you are getting the nut work while having a set up d 1, there is a $10 discount If the nut needs replacing, I can do all the measuring and the ordering for the new nut for $20 I will order the nut to my house for a deposit of $20 Modifying the existing nut by shaving and or slotting it to lower the action. $20 Replacing the nutif you provide the new 1 and the old 1 is still present. This includes the required shaving or slotting of the new nut. $30 Installing a new nutif you provide it and the old 1 is missing. D 1 when getting a set up. $20 Without getting a set up. $40 I can also replace tuning pegs that do not have an identical footprint but the price will need to be discussed prior to the work d 1.

Pedal TC Electronics Ditto Jam X2 Looper

This pedal is in good condition, and everything works properly except that for some reason I can’t get it to work on batteries al 1. However, it works just fine when plugged up to a proper power supply. The power supply in the pictures are used just to show the function of the pedal and it is not included in the price, nor is it for sale. This is 1 really cool looper because if you look it up online, you can see that it has a built-in microphone that actually allows the tempo to change speeds as the drummer plays. This means that the whole band doesn’t have to play to the looper but yet the looper is intuitive and changes its speed. It also has an external microphone that can be attached to a drum set, which is included in the price, along with the original box. The price already reflects that it won’t run on batteries. PLEASE READ I do not respond to emails because the reaction time is too slow for me with my service. I’m not putting my phone number in the contact block due to phishing/scammers. Strings Electric Guitar Various Brands and Prices

As you can see from the picture that I mostly have Ernie Ball strings in all sorts of packs with different gauges. I also have individual Ernie Ball strings so that I can make you any string combination you want for your guitar. The prices of these strings may be slightly higher than what the stores are selling them for and the reason for that is because my intention is to sell these strings to the people that are coming to me to get their guitar work d 1. So the price reflects the convenience of not having to go pick up your own strings. I can change your strings out for you on most guitars for $10. I also do other work on guitars which is explained further down in this ad. Spring Fender Tremolo Arm Retention Electric Guitar

I know that some people are looking at this ad and probably thinking 1 dollar! However, I buy, fix up and sell guitars and a lot of times with the Fender vintage tremolo guitars they come without springs in them. This spring is put down inside the hole where the tremelo arm spins into the bridge in order to give it tension to keep the arm from spinning around and rattling. They do not sell them individually from what I have researched and they only sell them in packs of 12, but who needs 12 Anyway, I bought a few packs for my work and if you need just 1, you could swing by and pick it up for a dollar. This is the description and part number. Pickups Chibson Humbuckers Japanese ROHS-YT-17KT Sticker Electric Guitar

They are brand new and they work great. I took these pick ups out of a Chibson guitar that I was working on for a customer. I tested them before I took them out of the guitar. It is a neck and a bridge pick up. I believe the sticker with the number on the back is just a compliance sticker. I am guessing that these are pretty much like Epiphone pick ups. The bridge pick up measures. 1104 resistance. The neck pick up measures 789 resistance. They come with the screws and the springs. Both pickups are included for the price. Pedal DigiTech JamMan Looper/ Phase Sampler JML2V-01 with Power Supply

It is in excellent condition. Everything on it works great and all the buttons function properly. At 1 time 1 of the rubber feet came off the bottom, so I glued back on. It also has a strip of Velcro in case you want to mount it to a pedal board. I just tightened everything down and cleaned it all up. It comes with a power supply. Guitar Ibanez ART420-HAM Spalted Maple with Active Pickups Electric

This guitar is in excellent condition. The serial number is S 09061669 which to the best of my research means it was made in 2009 in China. Even though it’s a 2009 model I don’t think it was played much at all. When I recently received it I had to take off the protective film that was still on the plastic covers. There are a couple of light scuffs on it where the pick guard would normally be and 1 light scuff on the back. Besides that I do not see any cosmetic marks on it anywhere. The frets and fret board are in excellent and look like they are in new condition. The fret board is nice and clean and the strings look brand new. I do not know the brand of the strings but the gauges are 9 - 42. I did everything for a set up as listed below in his ad minus the changing out of the strings plus cleaning and oiling the fret board because it didn’t need those things d 1. The tuning pegs work nice and smooth. I just put a fresh set of AA batteries in it and the electronics work great. This guitar screams heavy metal with the IBZ-LZ active pick ups. There’s no fret buzzing anywhere but the strings do sound a little rattley and it is probably because they are a very light gauge and probably not an expensive set. When I looked up to compare the pricing people were asking all types of different prices so I went with the lowest 1 I found from Guitar Center at around $450 as a comparison. Here is a write up from online about the guitar and all the specs. Description The Ibanez ART 420 is a testament to Ibanezs commitment to crafting exceptional instruments that dont break the bank. I ALSO DO GUITAR WORK SUCH AS SETUPS AND MINOR REPAIRS. This includes the required shaving and slotting of the new nut. $40 PICKUPS REPLACEMENT To change out a set of humbucker pick ups with the same wiring diagram with a set up. $40 Without a set up. $60 To change out 3 single pick ups with a set up. $50 Without a set up. $70 If you want to change out pick ups with a different wiring diagram we will need to discuss the price.
