Guitorgan MCI B – 35 Electric Guitar and Organ with Case

It is in good condition for a guitar this old and great condition for 1 that’s around 50 years old. Cosmetically there are a few blemishes on it as shown in the pictures but nothing major. The top of the head stock has been bumped a couple of times. On the front between the equalizer plate snd thr neck pickup there are some scratches. The equalizer panel itself comes off if pulled on and needs to have new 2 way stick tape put on. The bridge and tailpiece gold coloring is oxidized in places but the pick up covers look fine. There is a small indent on the back of the neck near the 12 th fret area. Structurally it is an excellent condition with no damage anywhere. The electronic part of the it works great. All of the organ parts of it work properly except there are 3 of the sensors on the organ part of the frets that do not work. They are at the the 3 rd string on the 1 st and 2 nd fret plus the 4 th sttring on the 1 st fret. The organ noting fret sensors go all the way up to the 18 th fret. I just cleaned and oiled the fret board. I polished the frets. I put a new set of Ernie Ball 9 - 42 gauge strings on it. I adjusted the truss rod for proper neck tension and the neck is straight. There’s no fret buzzing anywhere. I set the bridge h 8 for the best playability and it has medium action. The reason I couldn’t get the action any better is because the bridge piece would not go any lower on the high E string side. If somebody wanted to I guess they could put a replacement bridge on it that would allow it to go lower or grind away some of the metal on the bottom of the existing bridge to make it work better. The serial number is 1969 and it was manufactured in Waco Texas USA by MusiConics International Inc. From my research these were made in the late 70 s and early 80 s and this is 1 of the later models. However I cannot find the exact year it was made. I don’t have a proper scale for something of this w 8 but I did figure the difference between me holding the guitar and not holding the guitar on a digital scale and it came up to 9.4 pounds. The case is in good condition. I don’t have the key for it. On the outside there are a couple of marks on it but all the hasps, hinged and the handle are all in good condition. The inside cushioning on the top and bottom where the guitar body area rests has shifted. The lining is still in tact but the cushion underneath the lining has moved and settled in the corners of the case. The pedal and the special 8 foot long cord are included. The stand is not included in the price nor is it for sale. PLEASE READ I do not respond to emails because the reaction time is too slow for me with my service. I’m not putting my phone number in the contact block due to phishing/scammers. My name is Ron and my phone number is 910-723-1874. Sometimes I do not receive people’s texts so if you do not receive a text response back soon please just give me a call. Price is FIRM. CASH in hand only. General LOCATION is on map. Text or call for exact ADDRESS. I WILL NOT MEET anywhere. I do not SHIP or DELIVER. I sell on a FIRST COME BASIS. I’m not interested in TRADES. I ALSO DO GUITAR WORK SUCH AS SETUPS AND MINOR REPAIRS. If your strings are getting old and your guitar needs new 1 s, dont just change them, get a setup! After you get a setup your instrument is usually easier to play and sounds better. If you need your strings changed, a truss rod adjusted, the fretboard cleaned and oiled, the frets leveled, crowned, dressed and polished, the intonation set, the bridge h 8 adjusted, the pick up h 8 s adjusted, the stripped hardware fixed or replaced, the tuning pegs repaired or replaced, the electronics repaired or replaced, the nut worked on or replaced on your acoustic, bass or electric guitar then bring it to me. However, I am not a Luthier and I don’t normally do woodworking, fret replacements or finish repairs. Please read on for an idea of the prices I charge. SETUPS Note that there is a $20 service charge for doing a string change or set up on a guitar that I receive with 2 or more strings missing on it. The reason is because it does not allow me to do a proper pre-check and evaluate the guitar to see what work needs to be d 1. It also makes it take longer to do the work because the guitar has not been under tension and will take longer to form back into place once the strings are put on. Set ups consist of different processes and each process is necessary to make the guitar play the best it possibly can. I have listed each process and the charge for doing each 1 of them if you are not getting a complete setup. 1. Doing a setup on a guitar that when received is missing 2 or more strings. $20 2. Change out strings. $10 3. Truss rod adjustment. $5 4. Clean and oil the fret board. $30 5. Lightly clean the whole guitar, but not the fret board. $10 6. Tighten down all hardware and repair stripped wood holes. $10 7. Oil tuning pegs if needed. $20 8. Setting the intonation. $10 9. Adjusting the bridge h 8 for easier playing action. On a fixed bridge only. $5 10. Adjusting the pick up h 8 s for proper volume control. $5 Each guitar has different levels of difficulty and require different amounts of time to do the setup. Therefore, I have listed the following prices for different types of guitars when getting a complete setup, according to the bridge. These prices are for a complete setup if you provide the strings. Fixed bridge with no adjustments. $40 Fixed bridge with h 8 adjustments but no intonation adjustments. $45 Fixed bridge with h 8 and intonation adjustments. $50 Non-floating vibrato. There will be an additional $5 charge for each spring if replaced or added. $60 Floating vibrato. There will be an additional $5 charge for each spring if replaced or added. $70 ALLOWED TIME For a full set up it usually takes about 4 hours due to the wait times of fret board conditioning. In order to do a thorough job I prefer to keep the instrument for at least 24 hours which allows me the proper amount of time to keep tweaking the guitar adjustments for the best outcome. AVAILABILITY Im available most days of the week from 9 am to 9 pm to include weekends. REPAIR AND REPLACEMENT PRICES MAY VARY DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES AND CAN BE DISCUSSED BEFORE THE WORK IS D 1. ACOUSTIC SADDLE WORK Modify the existing saddle by shaving, shimming or slotting if you are getting a set up. $10 Without a set up $20 Replacement if you provide the original part as a jig and this includes any required shaving and slotting of the part. $30 Without a set up $40 D-TUNA Installing without a blocking system. $20 FRET LEVEL AND DRESS This will require cleaning and oiling the fret board when finished. $60 When this is d 1 a set up on the guitar is required and included in the following prices. Guitar or bass with fixed bridge and no adjustments. $100 Guitar or bass with a fixed bridge and the bridge requires a h 8 adjustment. $105 Guitar or bass with a fixed bridge and the bridge requires a h 8 and intonation adjustment. $110 Guitar with a non-floating tremolo. $120 Guitar with a floating tremolo. $130 NUT WORK The prices listed are general because there are several ways how nuts are mounted to guitars. Each different way can affect the pricing. So the prices that I have listed for the nut explained in the first type. 1. The nut that is glued into place at the end of the fret board it usually is easily removed by scoring the ends and tapping it out of place. It can be shimmed to raise the actions. 2. The nut that is imbedded into the fretboard and usually breaks when it is removed. This can be slightly shimmed and usually needs replacing if the action is too low. 3. The nut that is imbedded between the fretboard and the wood on the headstock and has to be cut in 2 in order to remove it. This type of nut can have the action lowered by filing the string slots, but if the action is too low, the nut has to be replaced. 4. The locking nut system, which is usually screwed to the guitar neck and can be easily removed. These nuts are usually made of metal and if worn out need to be replaced. However, they are easily shimmed in order to raise the action. If you are getting the nut work while having a set up d 1, there is a $10 discount If the nut needs replacing, I can do all the measuring and the ordering for the new nut for $20 I will order the nut to my house for a deposit of $20 Modifying the existing nut by shaving and or slotting it to lower the action. $20 Replacing the nutif you provide the new 1 and the old 1 is still present. D 1 when getting a set up. $20 Without getting a set up. $40 I can also replace tuning pegs that do not have an identical footprint but the price will need to be discussed prior to the work d 1.

Case Road Runner possibly for a Fender Stratocaster Electric Guitar

This is a Road Runner guitar case is in excellent condition but I do not know what type of guitar would fit in it. As you can see from the pictures a Fender Stratocaster fits in it pretty well but it still leaves about a half an inch on each side, so I do not want to claim it is for that particular type of guitar. The inside measurements without pushing on the cushioning are 41 long when including the indent for the strap button. It is 401/2 inches long without the strap button indentation. The guitar body section is 181/4 long, but on the section for the top half of the guitar with a strap button is it measures 183/4 long. The headstock area is 101/2 long. The bottom bout section of the body area measures 131/2 wide and the top bout area measures 121/2 wide. The measurement for the back of the body of the guitar to the back of the neck looks to be 11/2 deep. The Fender Stratocaster lays in it with the body flat and without stressing the neck at all because it lays in the pocket properly The inside of the case is nice and clean without any damage. It comes with a key to lock the case. The guitar is not included in the price and it is not for sale.
