I am selling a 1970 Martin D-35 dreadnaught body style acoustic guitar, serial number 266247 stamped on neck block along with “D-35“ designation. Year verified from Gruhn and Carter and with letter of authentication signed by Mike Longworth. The D-35 features a 3-piece back of Brazilian rosewood on the wings and Indian rosewood in center. Sides are Brazilian (in 1969 and 1970 Martin started replacing the Indian rosewood with Brazilian on some D-35s – this may be one of them). Top is Sitka spruce. Ebony fretboard and bridge.
