This set of 6 arrow back dining chairs have all been re-glued, restored, and are now ready for a new home. The seats are wood stained and the backs and legs have been painted a salmon color which is how we got them. They are all very sturdy and solid and in excellent condition. This dining room set and china cabinet is a 1 of a kind hand paintedaccording to the papers that came with it. The paper work says it came from Pulaski Furniture and was the Oriental Treasures line. It is probably about 15 years old but looks like new so was well taken care of. The table top is a stained wood with a glossy finish as is the top of the china cabinet. The table top is all 1 color although the pictures have shadows that make it not look all the same. The table is 48 round with an 18 leaf which makes makes the table an oval shape that measures 48 wide x 66 long. There are 2 captains chairs with arms and 4 side chairs. The chair seats are 19 wide and 19 high and the back is 40 high. The matching china cabinet has beveled glass doors and 2 wooden shelves and a drawer on the top and the bottom for extra storage. The top curved back decorative piece comes off for easy moving. The china cabinet measures 41 wide x 16 deep and 65 high to the top of the bak piece. The table and china cabinet are very heavy so a couple of strong guys will need to be available for pickup for the china cabinet. This beautiful Duncan Phyfe style dining room set was probably made in the late 1930 s or early 1940 s era. The table legs have the lyre design in the middle of each leg that matches the lyre backs on the chairs. The table top has been refinished and the legs have been cleaned and restored back to their original finish and the brass feet on the table legs are original, There are 5 side chairs and 1 captains chair that have been re-glued, restored, and the seats all have new upholstery. There are 312 leaves that can be inserted to expand the table to 98. There are the original table pads that are still in excellent condition. The table has 2 drop leaves that can be popped up into place or left down when you want the table smaller. The table with the drop leaves down is 42 wide by 32 long and 29.5 high. With the drop leaves up the table expands to 42 wide by 62 long. With all the leaves in, the table expands to 98 long. The Duncan Phyfe style tables are so versatile because you have so many size options depending on how many guests you have.Anywhere from 2-12 people.The chair seats are 18 wide and 18 high and the backs are 38 high. The captains chair seat is 20 wide so a little wider than the side chairs. The table and chairs are all in excellent condition and are ready for a new home. The beautiful carved rose on the back of the top rung of the chairs was on all the chairs manufactured by Tell City Furniture company.
