Fender Stratocaster Midnight Blue, Rarely Used 2001

2001 Fender Fat Strat Stratocaster with HSS layout. This is an awesome guitar and totally original. The action is nice and low. The guitar plays great up and down the fretboard with no issues. This is factory equipped with a bridge humbucker hence the HSS layout. It is finished in a discontinued color called Midnight Blue , which has a purple look to it in some lightings and blue in others. At nearly 24 years old it shows nicely.The previous owner told me they had attempted to learn guitar but never got anywhere with it and it had been over 12 years since they had attempted to play it. The plastic was still on the pickguard and rear tremolo cover. I removed the plastic from the pickguard but not the tremolo cover. The Tremolo cover states it came new with Fender Bullet strings, which have a brass end thats easily identified. The strings needed replacing and upon removal I noted they were Fender Bullets and I believe the original strings. There is no wear to the frets and the neck is in excellent condition so I do believe it was rarely played at all. I had it set up with low action and the electronics were given a spray of contact cleaner. Also it was given a deep clean , polish and new set of Ernie Ball Sy 10’s. The playability is great. The body finish is a very nice color with just some minor scratching and one small ding photographed below the bridge, easily a 9/10 condition wise. The 5 way switch allows for an array of pickup selections and a master volume and tone control allows you to dial it all in. No case or tremolo arm. For more money I can include an amp. $550 Cash Only
