1971 Realist Birch Forest by Ernestine Bucking

This is an exceptional Painting of a Birch Forest in winter by Listed Austrian artist Ernestine Bucking. It is signed and dated 1971 on the lower left. Bucking used gentle brush strokes and whites, browns, rusts and muted blues, greens and yellows to create this elegant work. It is oil on artist board. It has been cleaned, restored and newly framed. Both the painting and frame are in excellent condition. Measurements are 30 x 26; 33 x 29 framed. Bucking is a classically trained artist who studied art in Switzerland, France, England and Germany. She currently lives and works in the U.S. Her works hang in private, corporate and university collections from Russia to the U.S. and South America.
