1983 ODay 25 Sailboat located on Eagle Mountain Lake. She has a complete set of newer used sails - mainsail still crispy, 2 Jibs 100 & 135 and a genoa sail. We are selling because of life/work changes. I’d rather see it go to some 1 that will be able to use it more than us. The Lake is full - Lets make a deal! I’m willing to negotiate on price with serious buyers. With its centerboard raised the boat’s draft is 23 so it can get nearly anywhere in the lake and up close to the beaches and sandbars at the North end of the lake. Forward and aft Danforth anchors included. This boat is perfect for single handling. When the centerboard is down, the draft becomes 6-foot so it goes well under sail. The boat is docked in a deep-water slip located on A-Dock at Harbor 1 Marina with easy straight in/out access to the lake as shown on the picture of the lake. This slip was never less than 6 feet deep under the keel during the drought of 2023 and is normally between 8 and 13 feet deep. We never lost access to the lake. The Marina rebuilt the docks in 2023 as seen in the picturesand it is stable and safe with new power, water and even has Wi-Fi available. The slip is available for transfer with Harbor 1 Marina approval Improvements we made to the boat: - All 4 main cabin portlights were replaced with new in 2023. - Converted the water system over to powered with an electric pump that is a cockpit shower. It has a 10 gallon tank under the cockpit that is perfect for cooling down with on the hot days and you don’t feel like jumping in or the lake is too cold. - Added a bimini to keep the sun off while sailing. The h 8 of the bimini is below the boom and doesn’t affect the main sheet controls which are forward of the cockpit. - The Mainsheet traveler was rebuilt in 2024 with new parts. - Rebuilt the rudder, new fiberglass and paint in 2022. - The outboard is a Tohatsu 6 HP long shaft sail pro that is designed to make it easier to use with a sail boat and can be easily operated from the cockpit. It has a new 3 gallon external fuel tank that was replaced and a new carburetor installed in 2024. It consistently starts easily within just a couple pulls. The boat does not have a trailer.
