Vintage Industrial Wallpaper Roller Cylinder Lamp ~ Elegant Unique 3 This Beautiful metal Wallpaper Roller Cylinder has been expertly converted into an Elegant Lamp that will be a Fantastic addition to your décor. Skilled artisans created Highly Detailed roller cylinders to mass produce Intricate Designs onto wallpaper. Each metal cylinder is Unique, so no 2 are alike. The exact age of this cylinder is unknown, but it could date to the early 1900 s. This lamp has a 3-way switch, it is used and has some paint wear, but it is in good condition and working order. The lamp stands 373/4 tall to the top of the finial. The base is 9 in diameter at the widest point, the top of the cylinder is 6 in diameter. The harp h 8 can be adjusted down a bit if desired. The technique of surface print rollers was originally developed in Lancashire, England in 1873, and was a popular method for creating wallpaper designs into the 1950 s.
