This anglo-Japanese side table in wonderful tortoiseshell bamboo is a true high Victorian gem. Very elegant and a bit exotic, this side table has a irresistible charm due to its design and material. The tortoiseshell or Tiger bamboo which was used has a great color and speckled appearance and is a rare material which was mostly used in high-end English furniture from the late 19 th century. It is a very h 1 st and straightforward piece of furniture which can be used in a variety of situations - it would be great as a side table with a vase of lamp on it, but could also be a wonderful addition to your bathroom or waiting room with some magazines or towels.
