Pair of Mid Century Danish Thonet Bentwood Armchairs in very nice original condition. A fabulous pair of Mid Century/Danish Modern Chairs by Thonet Industries. They are super heavy and solid chairs--the main base: back and seat are one solid piece of bent plywood. Legs and frame balance are Afromosia African teak. The seats are in vinyl...at the time a luxury material-remember, during the war, there were no petroleum products offered to the public.
