Structurally very very sound, sturdy, strong and stout. All 8 of the solid wood Dovetailed drawers glide smooth and easy. The bottom right hand drawer is a file drawer. Normal wear for its age. The desk still has all of its original antique hardware. There is a Tempered glass protective cover. Great size for that small apt, condo, studio or smaller area in your home.
