After immigrating to the United States to pursue my American Dream, I started working on Yachts as a detailer and signage specialist which later morphed into being a self-taught boat mechanic for the past 20 years. Through hard work and determination, I went on to earn an Associates Degree in Marine Engineering Management from Broward College, graduating at the top of my class. Today, I’m a Master Marine Technician and Electrician with 8 ABYC Certifications, including Electrical, Gasoline, Diesel, and Marine System and I’m considered an Advisor by the ABYC in 5 areas. That means I’m usually called to troubleshoot and clean up other technician’s mistakes. I also hold EPA’s HVAC Certification, NEMA’s Electronics Installer Certification, and OSHA’s Shipyard Safety Certification.
