In 1985, they were purchased by a Chinese company who moved all the original manufacturing equipment from Sweden to China and continued to build the pianos there. They retained a richness and singing quality that was unlike most Chinese pianos. This conservatory-size 5’ 10” Nordiska is in good condition, well-suited for a motivated beginner to intermediate pianist on a tight budget who wants the dynamics and response of a mid-size grand at a fraction of the cost of a similar new model.
