I looked high and low for a better description but I ended up with the best match being---Net & T Co, Broad Axe Early Hurd Axe, England Telephone and Telegraph Co, the handle is even antique, I have never seen a handle quite like this 1, there isnt a split at the top of handle for a wedge and the base of the handle is kind of knobby, hope the pictures reflect what Im saying, handle is 42 long as well, head of axe is 9 W x 9 D, in pretty good condition for its age. phone calls only, I do not text.
